The Montague Soapbox Race committee is looking for sources of hay. This would be what's officially called "crap hay" -- the lowest quality stuff that can still be baled and used as safety siding for a soapbox race.
We will need about 800 bales for about six hours.
So, either we rent the bales, or we split the cost of buying bales with someone who is buying that much hay, and have it sit on the road for an afternoon before being transported to the new owner.
Hello, I am a trained and experienced Arborist offering my services to restore your gangly, shapeless, overgrown evergreens back to looking great in your yard! References available. My name is Karen and you can call me about pruning your evergreens at 978-544-0105.
I am making this announcement because April through May is a good time to have your evergreens pruned. Well, I did it! I joined the COOP, called Amerigas, and got a great deal.
$2.19 / gallon for the initial fill
Free tank ($25 install fee -- required by town; $6 hazmat fee -- required by Feds)
$2.49 / gallon thereafter (500 gallons a year price)
My previous propane provider was charging me $3.45 to $3.55 per gallon. At 500 gallons per year I'll save about $500 !
